About Us

The Galilee Community Development Corporation (GCDC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Suitland, Maryland. Its mission is to provide programs and services that improve individual residents' overall quality of life, enhance local economic development opportunities, promote real estate development and cultivate productive communities. Some of its programs include:

William H. Bennett Food Pantry: Distributes food to individuals and families in need
Charmaine Freeman S.T.A.R.S. Academy: A mentorship program for pre-teen and teen girls
Renaissance Seniors Academy: Provides activities and support for senior citizens
Veterans Support: Offers support services for veterans.
Fit 4 Life: A fitness program promoting health and wellness.
